This is no longer a "free" streaming app. You have to pay $5/mth to watch most movies and shows on the App! The App works better on smart phone than TV. The app on TV sometimes has "fits" and issues with longer-run titles. It will freeze and crash! Most disappointed at the abrupt decision to paywall most (95%!!) content. Subscription is cheap at $5/month but who knows when they'll jack up the rate?!?

Have this on my Roku Device, really enjoy watching older anime I've never seen before or stuff I forgot about. Works fine enough on phone, doesn't want to work sometimes on streaming devices, but good overall. The new layout update kinda makes things hard to find, can't really watch anything on streaming devices and keeps signing you out for no reason. Used to be good, but now it has too many problems, would still recommend once things are fixed up more.

There are some really strange design decisions with the video player, lack of settings, and features that would be great if they were here but aren't. There's also a lack of polish. I know many old anime were made in lower resolutions (ex: 480p), but I at least didn't expect piracy site levels of low bitrate. Although, the service IS free at the end of the day, so I'm not gonna be any more picky. Ads are rare as well, I expected a loooot of ads, but no!
